Author visit with Alyssa Capucilli

Kindergartners spent many weeks reading and enjoying books by author Alyssa Satin Capucilli. They were so happy to finally meet her during her visit to Cantiague. Alyssa's books about frisky and fun-loving dog, Biscuit were their favorite. Thanks, Alyssa, for a great visit where students learned about the book making process, as well as how to develop a character and plot. Alyssa also lead students in a writing workshop where kindergarteners started their own stories using Biscuit the dog as the main character.
