Author visit with Suzy Kline

Second graders spent the last month immersed in studying books by beloved author, Suzy Kline. They were excited to meet her and hear stories about how she created many of their favorite characters. She shared an important tip for an author of any age, carry a pocket-sized notepad to capture an idea seed. She then met with each class individually and conducted writing workshops where students were given a story seed that they were asked to imagine and then write. Thanks Suzy for a great visit!
